Q: What is the implementation period for uniform allotment? Is this immediately or January 1, 2022? Will our allotment be reset on ratification of the TA or is that only the case when the new uniform is released?
A: The new allotment amount of $350 would apply to the next allotment in January of 2022. Any amount currently in your account (carry-over) would be capped at $775, and (your carry-over) would be reset to $200 once a new uniform is rolled out.
Q: 27-6 refers to the loss/theft of luggage, is there anything regarding damaged luggage?
A: It doesn’t contemplate “damage”. “Damage” would require the CCM to go to the Company to replace it. If there is a denial of a replacement, then we would advise the CCMs to contact their respective Base VPs to assist. There is a clause that express “extenuating circumstances” but these really have to be reviewed on case-by-case - determining who or what would be at fault.
