Q: 35-5 Hotel Reinstatement: Is there a minimum time required to have a hotel reinstated?

A: The Hotels and Transportation article does not limit a minimum notice required to reinstate the hotel. That said, it would be expected that crew would notify Crew Scheduling within a reasonable amount of time once they knew the hotel would be needed.

Q: 35-2 Does the transportation have to be provided by private shuttle? Could a train be used? (ex: London Gatwick Express, Canada Line YVR, etc)

A: The working focuses on transportation - suitable transportation will be provided. This will be decided between the Company and the Union. The Hotel and Transportation Committee would be the elected representatives to determine what is suitable and not suitable. THey make the best decision for the market served.
