Q: When reassigned to RTD or on RTD following an illness (where it cannot be held out of our domicile) will commuters be provided a hotel?
A: No, you would not be provided a hotel. If you are not awarded your RTD in your domicile there would be no hotel provided. We had a tough time talking about commuting in bargaining. It was hard to negotiate because even though commuters exist the Company believes that commuting is a choice. There was no willingness from the company to pay for such hotels, though we did push hard on these issues.
