IMPLEMENTATION - SCHEDULING
Q: Is there a reason why the TA is activated with different dates for being applied?
A: We took the implementation process – some of the items the Company doesn’t have yet, for example, the bidding system needs to be purchased. We don’t want to be in a position where the Company is backpedaling, we want the Company to succeed with these rollouts.
It is also important to note
Q: Are there penalties to the Company should they not meet the software deadlines in the TA?
A: They have committed to these timelines. There is no penalty, except the union can grieve should we believe they are purposely not following the timelines. The recourse is something the Union has say over in the Grievance and Arbitration process.
Q: Will the 90 hour block come into effect prior to RIGs and the new scheduling system?
A: The 80-90 hour will come into effect no later than 3 months following ratification.
