Dear Members,

Today is International Flight Attendant Day! It is a day to celebrate all of the amazing work we all do every single day. This year is particularly important to recognize as this last year has been especially challenging. We are immensely proud to represent such a strong group of Members.

For our many Cabin Crew Members who have been working throughout the pandemic, thank you! You have been paramount for getting Canadians home safely, and continuing to get our guests where they need to go across our beautiful country and beyond.

If you are passing through the bases today, please look for your CUPE 4070 Executives and Health and Safety Committee Members from WestJet, WestJet Encore, and Swoop.

To our Members on furlough, we recognize that today’s celebration is not the same without you.  We miss you and we look forward to seeing you in the sky again!
