Swoop Integration Update #2

Dear Swoopsters 
 
Your Executive Team has heard concerns about a lack of information from your Union regarding the Swoop/WestJet integration. We wanted to assure you that as information becomes available, we will communicate it to you.  
 
Currently there is no updated information to share at this time, as everything is still being worked on. Until terms are agreed upon, and documents signed, these things cannot be shared.  
 
As you have seen from our recent communication, your elected WO Integration Advisory Committee is now up and running. The Committee has met twice with the Union since the election concluded on Friday July 21st, less than a week ago.   
  
CUPE 4070 has also been in discussion with the Company over the past month. It has been working on laying the groundwork to integrate Swoop into WestJet. Please be aware that these discussions are highly confidential. Your Union is unable to share any details until all points have been agreed upon and an agreement has been signed between the Company and the Union.   
  
Once that is complete, details can and will be shared with you. Please follow our emails for current and accurate information. Otherwise please take what you hear as rumours.
