We Will Come Through This – WE ARE CUPE 4070

Dear Members,

Your Union continues to stand tall and proud to represent every single one of our over 4,100 Members, whether you are on furlough, voluntary layoff, leave or remain active.

These times that we find ourselves facing were completely unimaginable just twelve months ago. When we look back, we have weathered so much, over such a short period of time. Wherever this crisis takes us, always know that your Union represents each of us every single day. We will never back down from pushing ahead for a federal aid package for our sector to stabilize operations until these troubled days and weeks turn skyward, and to ensure each of the over 4,100 Members of this Union feel connected to our home.

Destinations around the globe; and our workplaces and aircraft across the WestJet, WestJet Encore and Swoop networks are our home.

The CUPE 4070 Communications Committee in collaboration with the Local Executive have produced a video message for our entire Union Local. We truly hope that every Member of this Local will find moments of reflection, and we hope, a sense of optimism for our future together, despite these dark days.
